Based on a classic scene from John Carpenter's The Thing, this “The Thing vs. MacReady” boxed set is a diorama of the first confrontation between the men of the outpost and the alien creature. In this horror scene the alien is trying to replicate and replace the dogs in the kennel. MacReady has arrived with his 12-gauge in tow and he does what any one with a level head would do—he starts shooting!
